I am suspending posting about Alexander so I can share a story with you about another young toddler. Her name is Emily. Emily is a bright eyed, red headed 16 month old who lives in DC. I don't know Emily. I don't know Emily's family. I don't even know the person who blogged about Emily and her family.
What I do know is that if this was my son, I would want his story shared.
So, Alexander, Eric and I are going to do our small part and share Emily's story on our son's blog today. We would hope other parents would do the same for us.

Oh my god. I can't even dare to imagine. My heart is with this little girl and her family. Fervent prayers that she will make it through. And gratitude for every day I have with my little miracles...
