After months and months of rain, the sunshine was out today and so were we! While Alexander took his morning nap, Auntie Chelle, Grandpa and Lorelli drove to Sumner for Lorelli's soccer practice because Auntie Chelle had the privilege of coaching Lorelli's first soccer practice of the year! RJ is the official coach of the team but RJ and Kim were celebrating their anniversary (since I haven't played since 8th grade, it was probably best that I was just pinch hitting). After a 45 minute practice, Lorelli was exhausted and Auntie Chelle was convinced that she made the best decision ever, not teaching elementary aged students, nor will I ever agree to coach my child. It was fun but I'm meant to teach students with higher level thinking skills and be a sideline parent. Anyhow, after practice, we picked up Grandma and Alexander and had lunch before our next adventure! Daddy would have enjoyed us but wanted to take advantage of the weather and work in the yard. So, off to the park we went!
