On Saturday, it was too hot to go outside so I thought it would be fun to have a photo shoot. So, I grabbed the camera (I can reach anything on my tippy toes!), yelled Mammmmaaaaa, until she looked at me, sat on the stair, handed her the camera, and grinned. These are a few of the pictures from my photo shoot.
One day, Mommy, Daddy and Grandma took me to the zoo. I knew the zoo would tire me out. So, I rested up really really good on the car ride before we got there.
I like my new lightweight stroller. We even took it in a few places we were not supposed to. I'm little so I don't think anyone saw me.
I got bored in my stroller so Grandma and Mommy carried me. My dad had his camera bag so he only carried me for a bit. I wanted to know where PaPa was but no one told me.
Mommy liked pointing stuff out to me.I saw lions and tigers and bears. The tiger chasing the butterfly was cool. But I really liked the elephants the best. They are SOOOOO BIGGGGG!
This guy looks just like a furry version of me (but I'm cuter, right?)
At the very end of the trip, I got to pretend I was a caterpillar about to turn into a butterfly. I think Mommy and Grandma liked the butterfly exhibit more then I did. Grandma kept trying to get one to land on her. I think she wanted to cause a hurricane in Japan.
First, I have to look through Daddy's cookbooks. Then, I have to do research. I got it! We'll start with Pico de Gallo, followed by green beans, and chicken nuggets, and finish off with PUDDING! I'll set a spot for you, too!
It's really hard sometimes to not be amazed and totally proud of your kid. Today Alex was eating some applesauce and I gave Alex a spoon. Amazingly enough he started using it correctly. Eventually he got a bit bored and made a mess, but for five minutes I was the proudest stay-at-home dad in the world.
Eric is the master at Photoshop from his years of working on graphic design for the newspaper. I haven't had the courage to navigate the program as it seems rather daunting. So, I decided to challenge myself and conquer this program over the summer. This is my first attempt, with the before and after. Unfortunately, I have no idea what I did as I played with every imaginable button but I've got 3 months...I'll figure it out!
Thank you Cousin Lorelli, for letting me have your play kitchen. Mommy cleaned it this morning and I haven't stopped playing top chef yet. When Daddy made lunch today, I ran right over my kitchen and made my own lunch too! Of course, I do have to stop trying to climb in the shopping cart as it keeps tipping over...and the hardwood floor hurts my head when I fall over.
This blog is a record of our life as a family of three. A working Mommy. A stay at home Daddy. And a seven year old named Alexander who is at the center of it all.
